Thankfully, my journey towards quitting smoking is so far running smoothly:

I’ve been in kind of a bummer mood lately, because it is the last day of my Spring Break and I did not go any of the places I thought I was going to be able to.
That, and, I quit smoking.
We’ll see how long that lasts, of course; for now, I’m supplementing one addiction for another. In other words, I spent almost my whole break playing Skyrim.

I have been stealing wifi for the two and a half months I’ve lived in my apartment. They finally got wise and put a password on their network, so no more posts for the rest of the week.
Next week is my spring break, and I plan to resolve this issue during the time I am not in Chicago.

Excellent find of the day:
When I moved out of my parents’ house, I’d nabbed a box that resembled an antique metal glasses case.
It turns out that it is a fairly valuable Dutch runic calendar tobacco box from 1787! Such an excellent piece of history.

All these medical procedures are becoming unbearable; yesterday I endured the worst pain I’ve ever felt and it just never stopped.
I was crying during the procedure, and couldn’t stop after it was done. The pain lingered, too. Can’t I just be fucking normal?

Regarding New Year's resolutions
Come the final day of each year, which for the record are never usually very exciting for me, I rarely even bother with resolutions for the upcoming year. I don’t keep them, so why make them? This year, I told myself that I wanted to get on top of my health and to also lose weight.
